An instrumental suite inspired by The Dark Mountain Project (dark-mountain.net) and Paul Kingsnorth's novel The Wake ("a post-apocalyptic novel set a thousand years in the past") using electronic and acoustic instruments as well as recorded speech and sounds and drawing on a wide range of styles including classical, jazz, rock and experimental electronic. This is the first release of Kit Jolly's solo project, Coutances.
